Ducommun Incorporated Names Gregory A. Hann Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
LOS ANGELES, California (June 22, 2006) -- Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE: DCO) today announced that Gregory A. Hann has joined the company as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. He reports to Joseph C. Berenato, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the company. Mr. Hann will be responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting throughout the company. James S. Heiser will retain his roles as vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Mr. Hann, from 1998 until joining Ducommun, was with Alcoa as chief financial officer in Alcoa’s Fastening Systems and Mill Products businesses. Prior to Alcoa he held senior financial positions at several manufacturing companies including Alumax Materials Management.

Joseph C. Berenato, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Ducommun stated, “Greg has broad experience in finance, accounting and operations which he developed at several large, sophisticated organizations. His track record of achievement in the financial management arena and his team oriented approach will be important to Ducommun as we strive to accelerate our growth and drive for efficiencies in our operating units.”

Mr. Berenato continued, “Jim Heiser has done a terrific job as both general counsel and chief financial officer, but as we have grown to be a larger and more complex company, I believe that it is time to split these duties in order to facilitate growing the business. This action completes the recent corporate office restructuring activities; our team is now in place.”

Mr. Hann earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Business Administration) from Clemson University and an MBA (Finance) from George Washington University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
