LOS ANGELES, California (September 15, 2008) -- Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE: DCO) today announced that Joseph P. Bellino has joined the company as vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Bellino reports to Joseph C. Berenato, chairman and chief executive officer of the company and will be responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting throughout the company.
From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Bellino was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Kaiser Aluminum Corporation. Prior to Kaiser Aluminum, Mr. Bellino was chief financial officer and treasurer of Steel Technologies Inc. from 1997 – 2006.
Mr. Berenato stated, “Joe has broad experience in finance, accounting, mergers and acquisitions and operations. He has served as chief financial officer at several large, sophisticated, publicly traded organizations where his expertise helped them to grow in size and capability. His track record of achievement in the financial management arena and his team-oriented approach will be important to Ducommun as we strive to accelerate our growth and drive for efficiencies across our operating units.”
Mr. Bellino earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Finance) and MBA (finance) from Ohio State University.
