LOS ANGELES, California (August 3, 2009) - Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE: DCO)
today announced that James "Mike" Stanfield has joined the company as president
of its Miltec subsidiary. Mr. Stanfield reports to Tony Reardon, president and
chief operating officer of Ducommun, and will be responsible for all aspects of
running and profitably growing Miltec.
Mike joins the Ducommun team after having spent 29 years with Dynetics
Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama. During his tenure at Dynetics, Mike served
in progressively more senior positions and was most recently the senior vice
president of business development and strategic planning.

brings to us a broad based business development and engineering skill set,
coupled with a detailed understanding of operations and research and
development. Mike comes to Miltec intimately familiar with the Miltec
business base and has well established relationships with the customer
community. His track record of achievement in the engineering
services and research and development arena and his team-oriented approach will
be important to Ducommun as we strive to accelerate our growth and drive for
integrated business development across our business units.”
Mike graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Mechanical
Engineering, and from the University of Florida with a M.S. in Mechanical
Engineering. Mike also earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University.
